Our Food

Sustainable, Seasonal & Ethical

Main Menu‍‍‍ ‍ Sunday Roast Menu

Great food begins with passionate people, and every dish we serve reflects the care, dedication and respect we hold for both our ingredients and the people who produce them.

We are proud to offer a menu crafted around seasonal low-impact produce sourced from a network of exceptional local growers, stalkers, farmers, foragers and artisan suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability, quality and ethical practices. Every ingredient is carefully chosen not only for its flavour and provenance, but also for the positive impact its production has on the land, wildlife and local communities around us.

By working closely with small-scale and like-minded producers, we are able to celebrate the changing seasons and showcase ingredients at their absolute best. Our menus evolve naturally throughout the year, guided by the rhythms of nature rather than convenience or mass production. As a result, our specials menu changes frequently — often weekly and sometimes daily — depending on what is perfectly ripe, freshly harvested or newly available that day. This approach allows our kitchen to remain creative, responsive and deeply connected to the landscape that surrounds us.

Alongside our seasonal dishes, we also feature our signature ‘Specials’ inspired by ingredients gathered from local gardens, allotments, hedgerows and surrounding countryside. Through careful foraging and collaboration with nearby growers, these dishes capture a true sense of place and celebrate the abundance of our local environment in a thoughtful and responsible way.

All our electricity is supplied using power from 100% renewable energy generated from renewable sources in the UK, and 100% of the carbon emissions associated to our water use is offset to support tropical forest protection and mangrove restoration initiatives, meaning even the plates you eat from are washed sustainably and contribute to protecting our environment.

Honest cooking is at the heart of what we do.
